LOL: NRG, FlyQuest stay atop LCS Spring Split standings

NRG and FlyQuest won their Friday matches to remain tied for first place as Week 3 of the League Championship Series Spring Split got underway.

NRG defeated Team Liquid in 41 minutes on red, and FlyQuest got past 100 Thieves in 27 minutes on red. Both winners own 4-1 records in the top North American League of Legends circuit.

Belgium’s Gabriel “Bwipo” Rau paced FlyQuest with a 7-1-1 kill-death-assist ratio, while Canada’s Rayan “Sniper” Shoura wound up at 2-2-1 for 100 Thieves.

The United States’ Juan Arturo “Contractz” Garcia logged a 7-2-7 K-D-A ratio for NRG. Team Liquid got a 2-2-4 effort from South Korea’s Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in.

In the day’s other matches, Immortals beat Cloud9 in 38 minutes and Dignitas defeated Shopify Rebellion in 28 minutes. Both winners played on red.

The United States’ Edward “Tactical” Ra produced a 3-0-2 K-D-A ratio for Immortals. South Korea’s Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol finished at 3-0-1.

Frank “Tomo” Lam of the United States logged a 10-3-8 for Dignitas. South Korea’s Ju “Bvoy” Yeong-hoon had a 4-4-1 performance for Shopify Rebellion.

Week 3 continues on Saturday with four matches:

–FlyQuest vs. Cloud9
–Immortals vs. 100 Thieves
–NRG vs. Shopify Rebellion
