NFL: Steelers, Cardinals twice delayed by weather

The Pittsburgh Steelers and visiting Arizona Cardinals went through a pair of weather delays Sunday with fans at Acrisure Stadium asked to take cover.

The game first was delayed at halftime before play resumed at 3:20 p.m. ET. The teams played the first 7:42 of the third quarter before more inclement weather arrived and caused another delay as players returned to the locker room.

The second delay came after Arizona took a 17-3 lead on a 1-yard touchdown run by James Conner with 7:18 left in the third quarter.
