Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp sustained a low ankle sprain during the win Sunday over the Seattle Seahawks, the NFL Network reported Monday.

Kupp had one catch for 11 yards before limping off the field after blocking on a run play in the second quarter. After a medical evaluation and testing in the team locker room, he did not return to the game.

“He was going to try to come back and play,” Rams coach Sean McVay said in his press conference following the 17-16 victory. “He was moving around at the beginning of the second half and we were hoping that he’d be able to go, but it just didn’t quite feel good enough.”

Kupp missed four games to start the season because of a hamstring injury. He returned to action Oct. 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles. In six games (all starts), he has 24 receptions for 375 yards and one touchdown.

The 30-year-old has spent his entire career with the Rams, who selected him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Eastern Washington. For his career, he has 532 receptions for 6,704 yards and 47 TDs, and 23 rushing attempts for 132 yards and one score, in 86 games (72 starts).
