Ryan Poehling had one goal and two assists while Joel Farabee and Cam York had one of each to lift the host Philadelphia Flyers to a 5-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday.

Bobby Brink and Travis Konecny each scored one goal for the Flyers, who won their fifth game in a row.

Sean Walker contributed two assists.

Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson made 20 saves.

Alexandre Texier and Boone Jenner scored one goal apiece for the reeling Blue Jackets, who have lost nine straight games.

Columbus goaltender Spencer Martin stopped 21 shots.

Owen Tippett skated in all alone and had a wrist shot denied with a stellar save by Martin at 11:44 of the third period.

Philadelphia kept attacking and Konecny scored over Martin’s shoulder at 12:40 for a 4-2 advantage. It was Konecny’s team-leading 11th goal of the season.

Justin Danforth had a quick chance to cut into the deficit, but he shot high over the goal on the Blue Jackets’ next rush down the ice.

York scored on an empty net at 17:34 for a 5-2 lead.

The Flyers went ahead 1-0 at 5:11 of the first when Farabee skated in and flipped a backhand shot past Martin.

Jenner ripped a shot off the post at 13:44. The Blue Jackets continued to push and equalized at 15:02 when Texier scored through traffic in front.

The game became chippy, and a fight ensued at 16:59 between Columbus’ Mathieu Olivier and the Flyers’ Nicolas Deslauriers.

Philadelphia took a 2-1 advantage at 1:11 of the second when Brink fired a wrist shot at the short side of the net on the power play.

Soon after the Blue Jackets were awarded a power play, the Flyers broke out on a breakaway and Poehling pushed the puck just over the line at 6:41 for a 3-1 lead. It was the Flyers’ fifth short-handed goal of the season.

The Blue Jackets closed within 3-2 at 17:57 when Jenner’s shot deflected off the post and into the net.
