Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was a full participant in practice Thursday, a day after he missed practice because of a right shoulder injury he sustained last week.

That’s good news for the Bills (5-3), who are set to play at Cincinnati on Sunday in a clash of two of the AFC’s elite teams. The Bengals are 4-3 after a 1-2 start.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday that Allen was injured in Buffalo’s Oct. 26 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Allen finished the game and had 324 passing yards, 41 rushing yards and three total touchdowns (two receiving, one rushing).

Allen, 27, has 22 total touchdowns in 2023. He has thrown for 2,165 yards with 17 TD passes. He’s run for 189 yards and five scores.

Meanwhile, the fall chill has arrived in Buffalo, where the high temperature on Thursday was expected to be a windy 46 with a low of 34. While Allen played his college football at Wyoming and is accustomed to the cold, he is going to have teach his new teammate, Leonard Fournette, how to survive the plunging temperatures.

The running back, officially signed to the practice squad on Tuesday, is a Louisiana native who has only played for Florida-based teams during his six NFL seasons.

“No lie Buffalo colder than a penguin ass out here lord,” he posted to social media Wednesday.
