New York Jets cornerback D.J. Reed will miss Sunday’s game in Denver due to a concussion.

Reed’s absence leaves the Jets (1-3) without two of their top cornerbacks against the Broncos (1-3).

Brandin Echols previously was ruled out for the Week 5 contest with a hamstring injury.

Reed, 26, has 28 tackles through four starts this season. He has five interceptions and 302 tackles in 76 games (45 starts) with the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Jets.

Jets coach Robert Saleh declined to divulge his plan to fill the holes in the secondary.

Based on the depth chart, it’s likely that Michael Carter II and Bryce Hall would join starter Sauce Gardner in the rotation, along with special-teamer Justin Hardee.
