CSGO: NEO named interim coach of FaZe Clan

FaZe Clan named Filip “NEO” Kubski as the interim head coach of their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team on Thursday.

NEO, 36, will start his coaching career when the team begins competition in Group B of the 24-team, $1 million Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2023 on Sunday. The Poland native has taken over the helm on the heels of long-time coach Robert “RobbaN” Dahlstrom stepping down from his post.

NEO is regarded as one of the greatest Counter-Strike players of all time. He played for FaZe Clan briefly in 2019.

Faze Clan’s active roster features Havard “rain” Nygaard of Norway, Helvijs “broky” Saukants of Latvia, Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken of Canada, Finn “karrigan” Andersen of Denmark and Robin “ropz” Kool of Estonia.
