The Guangzhou Charge and Seoul Infernal each posted a victory on Sunday to remain atop the standings in the East Region qualifiers for the Overwatch League’s Spring Stage Knockouts.

The Charge recorded a 3-1 win over the Shanghai Dragons, while the Infernal notched a sweep of the Hangzhou Spark.

Guangzhou got off to a fast start with a 2-0 triumph on Antarctic Peninsula before the Dragons countered with a 3-0 victory on King’s Row. The Charge captured the match after posting a 3-2 win on Junkertown and 1-0 victory on Colosseo.

The Infernal had an easier time of it on Sunday. They posted a 2-0 triumph on Lijiang Tower, 2-1 win on Hollywood and 3-2 victory on Rialto.

The OWL format is different this year, with lower-level teams getting the chance to compete with the top-level squads.

The season format now will see teams amass points based on their results in regional qualifiers rather than the standard league standings that were in place in previous years.

1. Guangzhou Charge, 4-1, plus-10
2. Seoul Infernal, 4-1, plus-9
3. Hangzhou Spark, 3-2, plus-1
4. Dallas Fuel, 2-3, minus-3
5. Seoul Dynasty, 1-4, minus-8
6. Shanghai Dragons, 1-4, minus-9
