DOTA: The International 2023 to be held in Seattle

The International, Dota 2’s biggest annual tournament, will return to Seattle this fall.

The group stage will start Oct. 14, with The International 2023 running from Oct. 27-29 at Climate Pledge Arena.

The International was held at the venue, formerly called KeyArena, from 2014-17 before it was relocated due to renovations ahead of the arrival of the Seattle Kraken of the NHL.

Developer Valve is based in the Seattle area.

TI 2022 was held in Sinagpore, with the 2021 event in Bucharest, Romania. The prize prool was $18.9 million in 2022 and $40 million the year before.
