Golden Guardians dispatched Rainbow7 following 25- and 23-minute wins on blue, while PSG Talon toppled LOUD after posting a 34-minute victory on blue and a 28-minute triumph on red.
Golden Guardians and PSG Talon will compete in a best-of-five battle on Sunday. The winner will join Bilibili Gaming and G2 Esports as qualifying teams for the playoffs.
The $250,000 Mid-Season Invitational’s bracket stage runs from May 9-21 with a top prize of $50,000.
