Cleveland Guardians second baseman Andres Gimenez and right-handed reliever Trevor Stephan signed multi-year contracts on Thursday.

Gimenez inked a seven-year deal through the 2029 season with a club option for 2030, while Stephan signed a four-year contract with club options for 2027 and 2028.

Financial terms were not disclosed by the team, however The Athletic reported Gimenez’s pact was worth $106.5 million. It also includes a $23 million option for the eighth season, would be the largest pre-arbitration contract ever for a second baseman, per the report.

Stephan’s deal is worth $10 million, per reports.

Gimenez, 24, was a first-time All-Star and Gold Glove winner last season when he batted .297 with 17 homers, 69 RBIs and 20 stolen bases in 146 games.

“I am aware of expectations for this year,” he told Cleveland.com last week. “All I can control is my preparation. Just pay attention to the little things that allow me to have the good results and the kind of year I just had.”

Gimenez is hitting .274 with 25 homers, 97 RBIs and 39 stolen bases in 263 career games with the New York Mets (2020) and Guardians.

Stephan, 27, signed a one-year contract worth $730,000 earlier this month, just above the major league minimum of $720,000.

Stephan posted a 6-5 record with a 2.69 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 63 2/3 innings over 66 relief appearances last season.

He owns a 9-6 mark with a 3.54 ERA in 109 career relief appearances with the Guardians.
