The New England Patriots are expected to sign free agent offensive lineman Riley Reiff, ESPN and The Athletic reported Wednesday.

Terms were not reported. The Patriots would be his fifth team. The report comes hours ahead of the start of the new league year.

Reiff, 34, spent last season with the Chicago Bears, starting 10 of the 16 games he played.

Reiff has played in 163 games (149 starts) for four teams, including the Detroit Lions (2012-16), who selected him No. 23 overall in the 2012 draft.
