NBA: Pelicans F Brandon Ingram (ankle) out vs. Trail Blazers

New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram has been ruled out of Sunday’s home game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to a right ankle sprain.

Ingram also sat out New Orleans’ 110-96 setback to the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night. Naji Marshall drew the start and scored 15 points in place of Ingram, who has averaged 22.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 31 games (31 starts) this season.

Ingram, 25, has contributed 18.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 399 career games (360 starts) with the Los Angeles Lakers and Pelicans. He was selected by the Lakers with the second overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft.
