Vladislav Namestnikov’s time with the San Jose Sharks was short-lived.

Two days after being acquired by the Sharks, Namestnikov was traded to the Winnipeg Jets on Friday for a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.

The Tampa Bay Lightning sent Namestnikov to San Jose on Wednesday for fellow forward Mikey Eyssimont. The Lightning retained 50 percent of Namestnikov’s $2.5 million salary through the end of the 2022-23 season.

Namestnikov, 30, recorded 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 57 games with the Lightning this season. He is a pending unrestricted free agent this summer.

Namestnikov has 251 points (113 goals, 138 assists) in 610 career games with the Lightning, New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators, Colorado Avalanche, Detroit Red Wings and Dallas Stars. He was selected by Tampa Bay with the 27th overall pick of the 2011 NHL Draft.
