The North Carolina Courage re-signed defender Ryan Williams on Thursday to a three-year contract through the 2025 season.

Williams, who has spent her entire NWSL career with the Courage, set career highs in games played (18), games started (10), minutes played (988) and assists (three) in 2022.

“Re-signing Ryan was important to us after the season she had in 2022,” head coach Sean Nahas said. “Her commitment to both her personal development and this team have been tremendous to see and we are thrilled to have her back.”
