Jack Draper of Great Britain advanced to the Adelaide International 2 semifinals in Australia on Thursday with a 6-4, 7-6 (3) victory against third-seeded Karen Khachanov of Russia.

Draper delivered 10 aces and only faced two break points (saving one) during the quarterfinal clash, avenging last week’s loss to Khachanov in Adelaide. Draper, 21, next faces South Korea’s Soonwoo Kwon, who dispatched Mikael Ymer of Sweden 6-1, 6-2 in 61 minutes.

The other semifinal pits No. 4 seed Roberto Bautista-Agut of Spain against Australian favorite Thanasi Kokkinakis. Bautista-Agut defeated countryman and No. 7 seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-3, 6-2, while Kokkinakis pulled out a 6-3, 6-7 (4), 6-1 upset of No. 6 Miomir Kecmanovic of Serbia.

No. 2 seed Cameron Norrie reached the semifinals in Auckland, New Zealand, with a 6-1, 6-7 (5), 6-2 victory against Marcos Giron.

Norrie saved five of six break points and converted six of his seven break chances, setting up a final four showdown with another American, Jenson Brooksby. Brooksby fought off Frenchman Quentin Halys 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2).

The other semifinal is an all-French affair between Richard Gasquet and Constant Lestienne. Both survived three-set quarterfinal matches, with Gasquet rallying for a 1-6, 6-1, 6-1 win against Belgium’s David Goffin and Lestienne also coming from behind for a 2-6, 7-6 (2), 7-5 defeat of Serbia’s Laslo Djere.
