Boston College quarterback Phil Jurkovec will enter the transfer portal, ESPN reported Friday.

Jurkovec started 24 games over three seasons with the Eagles, following two seasons at Notre Dame. A graduate transfer, he will have one season of eligibility remaining.

He hasn’t played since Oct. 29, when he sustained rib and knee injuries in a 13-3 loss to UConn. ESPN said he is expected to be available for spring practice.

A four-star prospect in the Class of 2018 coming out of high school, Jurkovec has thrown for 5,405 yards and 37 touchdowns with 17 interceptions in college. He has run for 568 yards with nine rushing touchdowns.
