NCAAF: Boston College WR Zay Flowers declares for draft

Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers declared for the 2023 NFL Draft on Thursday.

He made the announcement in a lengthy post to his Instagram page.

Flowers finished with 78 catches for 1,077 receiving yards this past season, ranking him 10th and 13th, respectively, in all of FBS for the 2022 season. His 12 touchdown receptions ranked him tied for second in the country.

He finishes his four-year career at BC with 200 catches for 3,056 yards and 29 TDs. He had one more year of eligibility remaining.

The 5-foot-10 Flowers is expected to be a Day 2 pick in next year’s draft.

Boston College went 3-9 this season.
