Oklahoma House expectet so pass highly restrictive bill banning abortion at conception
Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt had signed Senate Bill 612 making it a felony for anyone who performs an abortion. Now the law has is expected to be passed.
Oklahoma just like Texas approved an anti-abortion bill that is one of the most restrictive ones in the United states as soon as the governor signs it.. Republicans are pushing an aggressive agenda across the United states to revert back abortion rights before Roe v. Wade. A leaked draft opinion from the United states Supreme Court said that the justices were considering overturning Roe V wade which is a landmark abortion case that was decided 50 years ago.
Collinsville Republican Rep. Wendi Stearman is deemed to prohibit all abortions most likely in the state unless the circumstances were to be to save a life of a woman that is pregnant due to harm and or the result of an incest or rape incident that was reported to the police.
The Texas- abortion bill abortion after cardiac activity can be detected in the embryo, about six weeks. This summer it will be a felony to perform an abortion, punishable by up to 10 years in prison There is no exception for rape or incest.
Abortion right activists state the bill is unconstitutional.
