Los Angeles FC signed veteran Brazilian defender Marlon through 2024 with an option for the 2025 season.

The 29-year-old free agent will occupy an international roster spot, obtained earlier from the Chicago Fire for $50,000 in 2025 general allocation money.

Marlon joins the MLS club after more than 250 professional appearances over 10-plus seasons in Brazil (Fluminense), Italy (Barcelona), France (Nice), Italy (Sassuolo, Monza) and Ukraine (Shakhtar Donetsk).
