Minnesota Twins right-hander Sonny Gray left his start against the Cleveland Guardians on Monday with right hamstring tightness.

Gray labored through two innings, giving up four runs on five hits with one walk before he departed. He was replaced by right-hander Ronny Henriquez, who was making his major league debut.

Gray, 32, had been dominating of late, going 4-1 with a 1.81 ERA over his past 10 starts, although Minnesota’s playoff prospects have faded. The Twins entered Monday’s game six games behind the Guardians in the American League Central and also 7 1/2 games out of the AL’s final wild-card spot.

Gray saw his ERA rise to 3.08 in his 24th start this season.
