Legenday tennis star Boris Becker will do prison time for to 2 1/2 years for hiding assets after bankruptcy

Famed tennis star  legend  and Wimbledon Champion  Boris Becker  will spend 2 1/2 years in prison for hiding assets and illegally transferring large sums of money after  Becker declared bankruptcy in 2017. Judge Deborah Taylor announced the ruling today, Friday 29th 2022.

Becker was guilty of violating his bankruptcy parameters. He transferred hundreds of thousands of dollars British pounds and hot and hid property that he owns in Lehman Germany which is his hometown. The former tennis star also refused to disclose $870,000 bank loan along with 75,000 shares in the company Breaking Data Corp, a technology firm.

His attorney, Jonathan Laidlaw was fortunate enough to plead to the court to give him some leniency as he could have faced a much longer term.
